CERM not only has a complete range of semi-finished and finished products of various alloys from powders, ingots to rods, plates, strips, foils, tubes, wires, etc., but also continuously develops and expands products for terminal applications according to the special technical requirements of different niches. It has become an excellent alloy components supplier for aviation and marine, nuclear power and high-end industrial sectors, and made outstanding contribution in assisting customers in solving challenges to sophisticated parts of key products!
CERM indigenously developed GH5K nickel-based superalloy, a new type of anti-corrosion alloy, with its own intelligence property rights. When used in high temperature oxidative and corrosive environments under 1200℃, the alloy features excellent resistance to high temperature oxidation and corrosion of molten glass with its dense scale and smooth surface, thus it can be widely used for glass, chemical, building material, electronics and other industrial sectors. Parts made from GH5K alloy display a greatly enhanced product quality, extended service life ranging from several to tens of times than what the original material have, making it an integral material in the production and application in glass industry and more.
High-speed gear pump bearings often use cast copper alloy bearings, whose bearing end faces and inner bores are often burned, and even lead to locking and broken shaft due to the high pump speed and poor lubricity of the working medium. CERM’s self-developed nmF10-5 powder metallurgical bearing material can replace cast copper alloy materials to largely improve pump performance. After a long material test lasting for 60 hours conducted by the user, the bearing was found little wear and its performance exceeded that of foreign samples. Therefore, this type of sealing material has been widely used in various high-pressure, high-speed gear pumps bearings.
High-pressure and high-speed hydraulic oil pump shaft seals for aviation navigation and special industrial machinery are usually made from bronze or impregnated carbon graphite, which has poor self-lubricating properties and is not resistant to dry grinding, and even generates “copper picking” under dynamic critical or oil-free lubrication conditions. CERM has successfully developed PH17, nm663, nmF10-1 and other grades of powder metallurgic copper-based sealing materials to replace impregnated carbon graphite for better performance, which can be seen from reduced leakage to 1/6 of what the original graphite sealing material have and extended service life to 1000 hours against previous 400 hours. In this way, the self-developed sealing materials effectively solve the problem of short service life and poor reliability of the hydraulic pump in the oil pump factory.
CERM's other special alloy products, such as low expansion, fastener products, nuclear nickel-based alloy products, porous foam products, high temperature and high pressure wear-resistant disc valves, oil pump bearings, friction plates, CNG gas turbine valve seats, high temperature wear-resistant welding wires, are reliable and of superior performance, and customers are welcome to verify them.
As one of the outstanding leaders in the field of special alloys, CERM extended its product application to the broad mould steel market many years ago, providing a full range of mould solution services for machinery, automotive, petroleum, aerospace, electronics, and plastic industries. The company's mould product categories include cold-rolled mould steel, hot-rolled mould steel, plastic mould steel, high-speed steel, non-magnetic mould steel as well as special alloy steel, and all products have equipped with complete services, such as, CNC precision machining, heat treatment, surface treatment and PVD coating treatment, etc.
Based on years of actual production experience and leading R&D innovation achievements, CERM has figured out ratios of main materials, with a careful selection of auxiliary elements and strict control of the grain structure and distribution, to effectively reduce or eliminate stress for continuously improving product quality. Thus, our mould steels have the following characteristics:
With increasing demands for processing performance and design complexity on the market, CERM is proud to provide high-quality mould steel and customized solutions that are more suitable for specific environments, product functions, and production applications. We also welcome customers to carry out research and development of mould steel application in specific fields together to jointly promote the innovation development of the global mould steel industry!
